What happens when I arrive?
Notts County is a great venue for our Sunday meetings - easy to find, free parking and comfortable, spacious rooms for all our meetings and childrens work. From the moment you arrive at the gate, you will be welcomed by one of our Host Team who will direct you to the car park and main entrance. From there, further Host Team members will show you through to the meeting room and answer any questions you have. As you enter the room you will be given a Welcome Pack and we serve coffee from 10:15 am. If you have children, you can register them for their various groups before the main meeting starts at 10:30am.What happens next?
A leader and band will guide us through a time of worship, but members are encouraged to particpate with individual contributions such as bible readings, prayers and Spiritual gifts. Don't worry if someone near you prays out - its not your turn next! As a visitor, we're just glad to have you with us - please relax and enjoy God's presence as we worship together.
After about 15 minutes or so, the leader will let the children know its time to go to their different groups - the Children's Teams will show them where. When our time of worship is over, there are often a few notices and items of family news to be shared. Following this, one of the leaders will speak from the bible before we end with further singing and often the opportunity to be prayed for. Most weeks we make a special point of praying for anyone who is sick.
At 12:15 (latest) parents collect their children, and refreshments are served. People leave when they wish, but there's always a great buzz for the next hour or so as people catch up with friends or make new ones, getting together for lunch or making plans for the week ahead!
