We not only want you to move to Nottingham but to get caught up with our vision to build a city impacting church, so here is some information about Nottingham.

  • The city is located just off the M1 motorway, in the East Midlands, north of Leicester and south of Sheffield.

  • Greater Nottingham has a population of over 665,000 and is the 7th largest urban area in the UK.
    Market Square

  • Many visitors are attracted to the city because of its rich history including Nottingham Castle, the 19th Century Lace industry and the Legend of Robin Hood.

  • Various events hosting national and international artists are held at the prestigious National Ice Centre as well as other venues across the city.

  • The city has two main shopping centres (Victoria and Broadmarsh) and two universities (University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent), with a student population of some 60,000.

    Tram

  • Public transport includes buses, a tram route from the train station to the north of the city, as well as an extensive network of cycle paths around the city.

  • Together with the Trent cricket ground, Nottingham also has two famous football clubs, Nottingham Forest and Notts County; the latter being the venue for Grace Church Sunday meetings.
