What is Alpha?

If you want to find out more about what Christians believe and how Jesus is changing lives today, then the Alpha Course is for you! Alpha is an opportunity to find out more about what Christians believe in a relaxed, non-threatening and enjoyable environment.

The course is free and runs over several evening or daytime sessions, plus a Saturday. At each session there is a meal, followed by a short talk and a small group discussion, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about any aspect of Christianity. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

Evenings

This course will run on Monday evenings in Ben and Emily Topliss's home in Sneinton. The launch will be on Monday 2nd February. For more information contact Emily.

Daytime

If you are around during the day, why not come to our lunch-time Alpha? It will be taking place in Ron and Una Bell's home in Mapperley. The launch will be on Wednesday 4th February. For more information contact Rob Mason.

Students

If you are a student then this is the course for you. The launch will be on Monday 2nd February in the Rose and Crown pub on Derby Road, with the course following in a house in Lenton. For more information contact Steve Morrison.
