Reaching out as individuals

chatting We believe that as a family on a mission God wants us first of all to reach out to those in Nottingham who don't yet know Jesus. We are not all gifted in evangelism, but we are all called to be witnesses to what God has done in our lives. Therefore at Grace Church we make it a priority to equip our people to be effective in sharing their faith with whoever they come into contact with, be it at school, on campus, at work or just when relaxing with friends and neighbours.

Reaching out as Small Groups

Door Knocking A lot of this equipping is done in our Small Groups, which also run social events to bring friends along to. Small Groups sometimes run specific outreaches to their neighbourhood, for example social action projects to demonstrate the unconditional love of God.

Reaching out as a church

To support what individuals and Small Groups are doing, we also:

  • Warmly welcome visitors to our Sunday meetings! Usually we include a short explanation of the gospel to help people understand who Jesus is and what he has done for them.
  • Plan a central programme of special events through the year to appeal to people at different stages in their spiritual journey.
  • Run regular Alpha courses.
